Meet Cindy the artist behind Pawtrait Pups
I’m an award-winning watercolour artist with a background in illustration and design — and an absolute passion for dogs.
Every portrait I paint is done entirely by hand using professional Winsor & Newton watercolours on Arches 300gsm cotton paper. I take my time with every single one, making sure I capture not just how your dog looks, but who they are — their expression, their energy, the little details that make them them unique.
I started Pawtrait Pups because I know how deeply we love our dogs. My baby is Lexi, pictured here with me at her 18th birthday party. She is my whole world — and the reason I understand exactly what it means to want something truly special to honour them every day.

How long will my portrait take?
I aim to have your portrait ready to ship within 2 weeks of receiving your order and photos. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
What photos should I send?
Please send high-resolution images taken in natural daylight. Phone cameras are great as long as you send the original file, not a screenshot. Make sure I can clearly see your dog’s eyes. Send up to 3 photos and I’ll choose the best one.
What materials do you use?
I use professional Winsor & Newton watercolour paints on Arches 300gsm cold-pressed 100% pure cotton paper — archival quality materials that will last for many decades.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of ordering. Pay Pal accepted securely through the checkout. Or message me if you don’t have Pay Pal.
Do you accept returns or refunds?
Because each portrait is a one-of-a-kind, custom-painted artwork made especially for you, I’m unable to accept returns or offer refunds. If there’s ever any issue with your order I will always do my best to make it right.
Do you paint cats or other animals?
I specialise in dog portraits, but I am happy to paint all animals
